This corset was handmade utilising a beautiful orange African batik and Art Nouveau Pugin woven jacquard. all fabrics used are upholstery. The lining is a soft cotton silk blend and the corset is fully boned with synthetic whale bone giving it a study grip. 

Inspired by a 50s silhouette mixed with African textile, TheBrandLayo aims to bring the elegance of the 1950s but with a Nigerian cultural take. I design, make and package all garments and put a lot of love in everything I make.
