Sustainability
Most fabrics are vintage and one of a kind which encourages you to cherish them for longer and as a slow fashion business I want my garments to have a special place in your wardrobe.
I work with independent businesses from my home Nigeria that create fabric using the hand batiking technique. As its a dying art, most batiks are made in factories which mass produce and add to the problem of climate change your purchases not only help my business it helps the small businesses of women in Nigeria.
A new fabric swatch collection is coming soon as part of my sustainability plans, as I make all garments myself ;I have a lot of fabric cut-offs which most businesses label waste and throw away. Using these cut-offs new corsets will be created with a mixture of fabrics to limit waste.
